Boa Vista (Capo Verde)

The Boa Vista Island is one of the most popular islands of the Cape Verde archipelago. We propose more informal and characteristics accommodations beside the usual "All-inclusive" resort offers.

Wide open coast and crystal clear waters characterize this island, also famous for being a breeding ground for humpback whales Megaptera (in the months of March/April)

We offer travel packages in village, hotel, posadas, apartments and rental properties to be combined with car rental.

Climate

The climate in Capo Verde is the typical tropical arid influenced by the trade winds that blow steadily during the summer months. Precipitations are very rare (the wettest month is September with just 1.5 inches) due to the influence of warm Saharian currents that steer seasonal disturbances away.

The minimum average air temperature is 75F in January. The maximum average air temperature is 85F from August to October. The average water temperature ranges between 72F during the Winter and 83F in September and October.

How to get there

Boa Vista can only be reached by air as there are no maritime links with the mainland. The International airport Aristides Pereira inaugurated in 2007 is the busiest airport in the archipelago.

Direct flights are possible from many cities in Europe.

Where to stay

Among our different offers, renting an apartment or a home, combined with a car or ATV rental allows to experience the place in total autonomy.

For the traveler looking to enjoy comforts and relax we suggest hotels, posadas (family-run guesthouses) or "All Inclusive" resorts.
